opening ceremony

Please bring to our Opening Ceremony:
Your Dream Journal & pen ~ a journal you can dedicate to your dreaming practice and this course, blank/sketch paper if possible or lined
- If possible, be in your Sacred Creative space with your art materials ready. We will be starting with some simple sketching and acrylic blending exercises - you will need your pad of canvas/watercolour paper for blending practices, brushes and paint 
- Anything to help nourish your senses and create sacred space for yourself: a candle, sage/incense/Palo Santo, essential oils etc
- Water/tea
If you already have your large canvas (30x30", 24x30" or larger) please bring that too! (Optional, don't worry if you don't have it yet!)

DAILY SELF LOVE RITUAL

Sit in stillness in front of your blank canvas:

PART 1 - Repeat out loud 5 times “I deeply completely love and accept myself” while rubbing the acupressure point on your heart with your right hand (in-between your 2nd-3rd rib, left side of chest on your heart). ***Say it like you mean it, smile :)

PART 2 -Breathe into your heart, speaking your intended emotion that appeared on your canvas in our opening ceremony (joy, gratitude, love, peace, inspiration etc). FEEL it, smile, bask in this energy and breath it into every cell of your body ~ if you need a hand getting there, activate memories in your body of when you felt that way. Speak out loud 5 times “I Am ______(elevated emotion)”.

Repeat “I Am that I Am” 5 times ~ OUT BREATH: “I AM THAT”. IN BREATH: “I AM”

PART 3 -Sit in empty presence in front of your blank (or with your word in silver/gold) canvas for a couple minutes while you FEEL the completed masterpiece, how do you want to feel gazing at her? (love, gratitude, freedom, the warriors spirit) EMBODY this emotion by feeling it, amplifying it, breathing it into every cell of your being. SMILE. Hug yourself. BE the observer. Quiet the mind and sit in stillness. If the mind is loud use the above as a mantra to direct the mind. Feel your completed painting in front of you, how do you want to feel looking at her as a finished amazing beautiful masterpiece? FEEL that. This practice will help you connect with the energetic blueprint of this painting, that on an etheric level, is already done.

**IF you receive visions for your masterpiece, write/draw them down for future reference. 

Practice: Cultivate the Open Artist by practicing OBSERVING. Attune yourself and your eyes to see the realms of the subtle. 

In your daily life, become the observer. Observe faces, colours, the shapes of eyes, the highlights and shadows of noses. Observe the subtle shades of shadows and highlights on peoples faces. Ask your inner artist questions like "How would I make that colour? I wonder what colours I could mix to make that highlight on her cheek, that bluish shade under her nose, that shadow under his eye, those subtle differences and shades of hazel in her eyes." 

PLAY ~ Experiment and mix those colours. Allow your intuition to guide you. Cultivate a playful curious spirit. What does purple and green and white with a little red make? Play :)


GUIDED SLEEP MEDITATION ~ Into your Akashic Gallery

Use this guided mediation as you fall asleep to enter into your Hearts Gallery, to receive visions of your future creations. Use this meditation to exercise your imagination muscles and practice using your intuitive senses, to dream up, to receive visions, inspiration and ideas from your Essence on what your Heart is here to Create. Set an intention to receive a vision of your Divine Self Portrait Masterpiece… imagine yourself walking up to this painting that is already complete, already displayed on the wall of your Hearts Gallery. Remember, this is like planting seeds, allow time for your seeds to grow. As always, the most important aspect to connect with is how you FEEL, how does your Masterpiece feel to you? Using your superpower of feeling is what calls your creation to you.

***This meditation will fade off into the music, so you can easily fall asleep. There is Theta brainwave music in the background - to help you deepen into a dreamlike meditative state.
