your sacred intuitive senses
WELCOME to week 2! There are three parts to this painting; part 1 is an audio only meditation. There is no video just audio for part 1; so you can allow yourself to create the first layer of your painting through all of your senses except the one you rely on most… your sight!
Allow yourself this delicious experience of painting your first layer without your sight, so that instead you can rely on your other intuitive senses that can guide your artwork in profound ways. You may just find some hidden creative superpowers waiting for this moment to awaken to your awareness and a whole new depth of inspiration and freedom within you.
Part 2 and 3 are video sessions to create beautiful abstract backgrounds and then apply a gold leaf sacred symbol and/or sacred geometry. You may notice a symbol has already been showing up for you! Pay attention to your dreams and what is making its way to you in waking life ~ or it may come to you in the meditation; a power symbol for you to work with and create with this week.
~ Part 1 ~
For this Creation Session you will need something to awaken each of your senses such as:
-dark chocolate, or another delicious decadent treat for your taste buds ~ to honour your sense of taste
-an essential oil, fresh flowers/roses, something to stimulate and honour your sense of smell
-awaken your sense of touch by painting some of this layer with your bare hands! I invite you to really allow your sense of touch the delicious gift of painting a portion of your background with your hands. Liquitex Basics acrylics are safe to get on your hands, if you have another brand please make sure it is safe for skin contact. You can use your gold and silver paint for this part.
-candle/matches ~ you may even wish to do this practice by candlelight
-sage/palo santo/incense
-tea/water
-be in your sacred creative space with canvas, paint, brushes, modeling paste, pallet knife, paint water
